Two things that are done here that might be better than how it's done else where is,
First, a rookie class. A couple tracks around here have one and it's very popular. Most keep racing and move to the general class. Its a great way to get folks started in the micro's/minis.
Second, a crate class for your top car. Its done with the modifieds here. 3 grand for a long block circle track engine, about 350 hp. Plenty for a sportsman class of nonwing sprints. I know guys that are going on they're 3rd year of running the engine in a mud bus, tired but still running. You groom your own drivers for the top cars. Basically a new crew wouldnt have to even think about engines.
Thats it, You guys are in racing heaven. Theres no nonwing sprints around here, big block bumper cars, yawn.
