Dean, on your DVD's is there an option to have the announcers on or are they always edited out on the DVD portions. Just curious. The DVD's are awesome quality

What are you asking? What is this in reference to?

I never sell a DVD without some announcer's "live call". I should, because it would be a whole lot less trouble at times when we can't hook up to an announcer and have to do it in post-production. Some productions never are completed because there is no live call. Which, admittedly, is kinda stupid...But, I hate when you simply do not know who you are watching because there is no "live call"...

Chris, your voice is on there somewhere...You probably only have one channel of audio going to your television. Check your RCA cables to make sure that you are receiving both channels. I am sure that is the problem.

Dean, you are a nice guy to massage Chirs's ego. The vast majority of those who purchase your excellent DVDs likely don't give a rat's behind to hear a local announcer's voice. Give me Klepper's voice and knowledge any time.

Actually, I happen to like the way Chris calls a race. In fact, he's a hell of a lot better than that fool who was calling the highlights of ORP and Tri-State for me.

But, I gotta tell ya, I have a real problem with some fester that calls himself "observing", who runs someone down just for kicks and yet, doesn't have the sack to sign his name to his opinions. But, then again, people like you are a dime a dozen on the Internet. Nothing new here.

Do us all a favor, would ya? Unless you have something positive to say, and are willing to man up and sign your name to your posts, go back to "observing" and kindly refrain from opening yer yap. Thank you.

If you announced a race that was on a DVD, wouldn't you want to hear yourself? It's like if you were in the newspaper for something, wouldn't you want to see the article or picture?

play nice, please
Surely wouldn't want any more threads to turn into long-winded :angry-smiley-007: stuff like the Danica thread, or the DM vs JK deal.
My collection of Dean's DVDs continues to grow, and I personally don't care whether I hear Klepper or Buckley or another announcer on them. I have a couple old ones by one of Dean's Cali friends without any discernable announcing at all, just occasional bits of the track announcer's voice; maddening not knowing who won until the winner's interview.

Het Dean,
I watched your video clip of the night before but will the dvd show what happened between Shane Hmiel and Chase Scott? And if it does I would like to buy 1 and send it to Chase...
