I always heard that once you go once, you'll never want to miss another. Well, I'm a believer. I bought Wed-Sat tickets for my father for Christmas last year. 2 friend's, my Dad, and I headed out late Tuesday night and arrived Wednesday morning. Checked into our hotel and relaxed for a bit. Headed to the Quik Trip Center around noon and boy did I witness the most exciting racing I've ever seen. Every qualifier and heat race is like an A main. If you don't make it to the front your first night out, you've got a long week ahead of you! We sat 4 rows up just past the start/finish. My shirt got dirty during hot laps and it was perfect the rest of the evening. The venue is unreal, the racing is awesome, the people are fun, and so on. I was just wondering how many people from around Indy plan on making the trip in February. I thought 4 days of racing might get boring. Boy was I wrong. If you have any Chili Bowl stories, share them! If you have any rants or rude comments, save them and keep them to yourself. My username is Chad Smith for a reason. That's because I'm not one of these clowns that talk trash and hide their name on here. I rarely make a new thread, but when I do, I like to keep it fun without all the ********. After all, you can't ***** about the Chili Bowl!! Thanks! I would love to hear some Chili Bowl stories.

So you bought Chili Bowl tickets for you and your wife as a honeymoon gift? A great idea and a great woman it sounds like. Lucky man! Any man that has a lady that enjoys the dirt track is a lucky man.
