From this fans point of view......Bring back the 40 and 50 lap sprint car races. The longer race has more strategy, the track usually changes during the race which is a heck of a lot of fun to watch some drivers adjust while others, well not so much. Also the longer races as a whole have more of a personality than the short ones do.
25 lappers really dont give enough time for the race to develope very well. Heck imo the B mains should be 20 laps or at least 1 lap for each car in the race to give a guy starting at the back of a large lineup a chance to go through the field and transfer. With a minimum of 12 laps of course.
I know most car owners are yelling out nooooo, while sponsors, motor builders and some fans are yelling yeeees.
But this is just me thinking out loud.
