An MVP added to Jackslash lineup!

Jackslash Media Inc. (Jackslash.com) is making some big leaps in 2012 by adding a second cameraman to the fold.

Dean Mills of Mills Video Productions (MVP) has joined the ‘Slash team and will be shooting selected Indiana Sprint Car events this season.

“This will give our members more value for their dollar and hopefully attract new members,” says Jackslash owner Sean Buckley.

Last season was the first year of doing the “paid content” site and it was only Buckley covering the races.
He would have to choose between Gas City or Bloomington on a Friday night, or Putnamville and Lawrenceburg on Saturday.

“Dean has been shooting and producing sprint car video content for nearly 30 years, says Buckley.”
“He gave me my start when I was 19 years old back in California during the SCRA glory days and he is definitely going to better the Jackslash product,” says Buckley.

“It feels great to be back working with Jackslash Media. Over the years I have had the opportunity to work alongside Sean Buckley, whose skills as a videographer/editor/on-air talent have always been impressive to me. He’s a jack-of-all-trades which is why we call him ‘Jack Slash’. I greatly admire what Sean has built, and how he has begun to fill the growing need for the video medium in the sport of Sprint Car Racing. I am looking forward to once again being part of the Jackslash brand and continuing to help with the promotion of our beloved sport,” said Mills.

Mills will tentatively be shooting about 20 selected dates (if not more) throughtout the 2012 Indiana Sprint Car season. When Buckley goes to Gas City, Mills will head to Bloomington. When Buckley heads to Putnamville, Mills will head to Lawrenceburg. Then the duo will work together at selected Kokomo dates giving members content like never before.

The fun begins this weekend as Jackslash.com will have coverage of Friday night’s Gas City AND Bloomington season openers.

That is a combo that would, can and will put any and all motorsports coverage the world has ever seen to shame...It's like Superman and Spiderman teaming up.. F1, Nascrap, the old Outlaw broadcasts on TNN...even the old Thursday and Saturday night Thunder shows will pale in comparison to the work these two combined will do...

Seems as though I must now join Jackslash as a member

Like I said in my post about him not covering USAC anymore. Lots of great stuff in store for this season. I support him 100%, Its the only way I get to see racing when I'm working 1000's of miles away in either Brazil or Ghana, Africa

When I read the headline, even before I opened the thread, I said to myself that I hoped it was Dean. What a combination! It just doesn't get any better than this. Great news indeed for our sprint car community.
