Along with this great announcement comes the newest of pre-entries, Mike Rutherford of Lititz, PA. Rutherford, a big name in Pennsylvania, is a newcomer to The Keizer Wheels 66 as he was in attendance for the PA 600 Speedweek last year which shared conflicting dates. In fact, the opening race for last year’s Speedweek, the same night as the finale of The 66, Rutherford took home the checkered flags at Trail-Way Speedway. Mike is no stranger to victory lane at the PA 600 Speedweek, as that was his 3rd of 3 visits to it since its inception in 2007 along with 3 other podium finishes in the 5 years of the series even taking home a 5th overall in 2009 and a 2nd overall in 2010, only coming in behind the winner by 5 points! So, lookout for this tough competitor this year as he sets his eyes on the $10,000 check.
