hindsight is always 20/20, but why wouldnt the speedway, who is without question ALWAYS on the cutting edge of safety, not have already made the move to put the dryer operator in the cab of the truck? also, now that we know an incident like this is in fact possible, how about mandating fuel cells for the jet dryers? i believe that if this indident would have happened with an open cockpit car the results could have been much more devastating for the driver! also there are some interesting comments from michael andretti on danica in this column.....
