NO clutch....it self starts if it's out of gear....has to be pushed when in gear...flexplate mounted to crank flange with U-joint mounted to flexplate...the starter is just for warm-up and tuning convenience, not for eliminating push vehicles. A small ATV will comfortably start an ecotec though...It's possible I imagine to lock the car in gear and hit the starter which will move the car forward as it turns the engine over but I don't know if the starter is strong enough to handle that very often

I have a similar setup on my TQ, and have thought about adding a RAM clutch, to be able to drive off, but they start so easy, I have a 90cc, 2-smoke ATV, geared down 4 teeth, that starts it with ease, or, I can open the shop door, and fire it up on jackstands, which I do quite often, when I need a "fix", makes these long winter month go by faster!
