I've been looking into different classes and was wondering what the cost to run a wingless sprint is. Do you need new tires every week? How long until engines need rebuilt? Whats the average cost to run weekly and whats the average pay-out?

Thanks

New right rear every 3-4 shows depending on track conditions. Left rears will run for the year, that you start the night with, bigger left rears may need to be replaced before the season's over. Fronts will run all season. A solid built motor should run all season without a problem. Average weekly show at most tracks is around 1400 or 1500 to Win and 200-225 to start. Starting out, keep in mind if you miss the show, you may only get 25-30 bucks. Some tracks guarantee at least 50. Some sanctioning bodies pay 100 guaranteed tow money. One of those being the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series. If you go to Paragon on a regular night, you are guaranteed to run an A-Main and at least 100 bucks.

If you have any other questions just pm me. It's always good to help new Sprint Car racers.

Hey JT. Just curious what tire prices are this year? What's the new price of a RR?

I heard the new HT2 is 207 plus tax, but haven't confirmed yet. Guess we will find out soon when we get a couple.
