I posted the results of the A mains in each class in the Races and Results thread. IOW only allows 10,000 characters per thread and it would have been over 83,000 to post all of the results, but DAD for your benefit I did include the B main for the 1200's.
For everything you can still see them on various websites including hoseheads.com

I would have posted but to be honest I was exhausted! We ran the feature around 8:00 Saturday evening.....by the time the race was over and we packed up the trailer you folks on the eastern time zone were about to celebrate new years. I think we got back to the hotel around 11:15 central time.

It was a good race but very difficult to pass.....the track was wicked slick. The three FOZ cars finished 7th (Scott Fasse), 9th (TJ Heil) and 10th (Trey Gustin).

TJ and Scott did about all you could do to get there with a passing points race....started up front and finished up front in their heats and qualifiers. It was great that the 1200s ran qualifiers this year as last year all they ran were heats and B-Mains before the feature.

Trey had an incredible B-main going from 8th to second to make it to the feature.

We had a great time at the track......it was a fun weekend of racing wrapped up today when we drove home 11.5 hours.

Final results:

“A” Main (20 Laps): 1. 10L-Brock Lemley (Bellingham, WA), 2. 17h-Derek Holmwood (Bellingham, WA), 3. 5j-Jim Scanlon (Chicago, IL), 4. 7-Jared Gunderson (Sedro Woolley, WA), 5. 81-Scott Krueger (Ocala, FL), 6. 15-Merril Lamb (Iola, KS), 7. 8F-Scott Fasse (Westchester, OH), 8. 22c-John Campbell, 9. 13e-T.J. Heil (North Bend, OH), 10. 80-Trey Gustin, 11. 6*-Jason Youngblood (Bellingham, WA), 12. 10-Dan Hillberg (Whittier, CA), 13. 21-Ryan Cully (Burlington, WA), 14. 07-Jeff Gieg (Johnstown, CO), 15. 17-Austin Pribbenow (Elizabeth, CO), 16. 87-Liam Ryan (Langley, BC), 17. 4x-Austin Archdale (Brinfield, IL), 18. 13-Steven Hendrickson (Bellingham, WA), 19. 15F-Aaron Fell, 20. 09-Tyson Cross (Langley, BC).

Sure wish we could have been there but Fort Wayne was so much closer and the purse was so much better just could not justify the effort.

We ran second there last year behind one of those Washington state cars. That guy did not know the meaning of front bumper to tale bumper restarts. We had more left for him but being the first time in the car ol Lyn played it safe and did not push the car to it's limit's.

Just can't say enough about A.J.'s chassis. when it comes to 1000cc sprints even John Godfrey is playing catch up to A.J. He has driven them and knows about those chain drives and how they work. How else could we run with cars 50 to 75 pounds lighter than us. The cars arent heavy but my drivers are.

I'm still not a fan of the passing points format. If you have a good car and start up front you can't gain any points. We made the feature by starting the heat and qualifier up front and staying there but it's hard to get to the front on that track starting in the middle of a 20 lap feature.

We went back to Tulsa this year because we did so poorly last year and we felt like we could do better.......which we did. I don't see us going again next year. It was a lot of fun but two years in a row is enough. Next year I want to relax on New Years Eve.

I'll take the weather we had....one afternoon I took a 45 minute nap in the bed of my truck and woke up with a sun tan!

Weight requirement on Alky with driver was 925. I had 60 pounds of weight in the car with a 165 pound driver. Our car weight off the scales was 705 pounds with a half tank of gas. So....I could have put a 225 pound driver in the car and been at weight. I don't know how you can build a car any lighter than that and our FOZ chassis is from Spike.

Doug weighed in at 260 lbs at fort Wayne Lyn about 230 lbs. Doug and car 965 lbs last night at Fort Wayne so about the same weight. Pick up points and geometry make the difference in these things. The harder you drive A.J.'s cars the better they work , take the wing off and then they are not even close. We went off and left the field last year at Tulsa and that was the first time Lyn had ever been in the car (maybe 20 hot laps befor the main). Wonder what he could do after a few races and a little more trust in the car.

A couple of weeks A.J. took 3 cars to the Poweri race at Dequoin Il.
He finished 2nd , 5th, and one car got knocked out, but all 3 cars made the main. That TMEZ kid is a gasser, Brad who won a couple of years ago with A.J. said he had forgot just how hard he could drive one of those things. I would also bet with what Clausen had in his car A.J. could have build 2 of them.
