Not racing related but I thought this needed to be acknowledged anyway. Ten years ago today the world lost an integral member of the most influential rock band in the history of music. Ten years ago today the we lost George Harrison.

I was never a huge Beatles fan but I always thought George Harrison didn't seek nor get much of the accolades and attention that he deserved. Seems he spent most of his time in the shadow of Lennon and McCartney which appeared to be OK with him.

RIP George Harrison.

Silver Crown Championship Dirt Cars properly driven on a one mile dirt track are classic poetry in motion. Using that analogy, Jack Hewitt is one of the greatest poets of all time.
