Does anyone know if any USAC regulars are running the POWRI midget race at Belle-Clair (Belleville, IL) this Fri May 10?
I know Jerry Coons shows up frequently.
Thanks

Perhaps, some of those who don't participate in the USAC National Sprint series. The sprints will be in action Fri 5/9 @ Bloomington and Sat 5/10 @ Eldora.

Saturday I'll be at Little Belleville, even if Morty isnt there, and Petey must have got some bad beer or something to alter his thinking.

Naw, Andrew. Petey has been a closet wanged fan all along.
He attempts to hide that fact along with the fact that he would skip a USAC sprint car race at Haubstadt to attend the regular Saturday night show at Florence :rolling
Until you've set next to Petey at Haubstadt, with his goggles, his floppy hat, and a hair net on his beard, you have not yet watched a race in the company of a fan who really comes prepared for dirt tracks.

He's set next to me at Haubstadt, but I dont think he had all that gear with him. Maybe the floppy hat for after the shine ran off the top of his head.
I dont mind watching wings if theres nothing else on,but this weekend theres plenty of the real adventures to go watch instead. How can you give up what you know will be a good race at Little Belleville or Haubstadt (Fairly hard decision to make there, but I fell in love with Little Belleville at first site) to go watch the WoO which will probably be a single file no passing affair?

You of all people should know the kind of action that Paducah produces ASQ... I'm pretty sure I saw the POS van there!? Lasoski came from 15th to win it last April in the frostbuster. McCarl charged from the tail to a top ten run, same for Meyers. I would agree that there are a plethora of choices though, and wholeheartedly agree that 'lil Belleville rocks.
