Believe it or not, I have never been to Kokomo Speedway, my brother in law and I are going up tomorrow for the Jack Hewitt Classic. Directions from Bloomington to the track would be awesome. I know i have to take 465 to US 31, but from there, im lost. Thank you for your help

31 North to Morgan (Arby's, Hardy's) go left (West) go to Davis road (B-K Hot Dog stand) turn right (north) track is on the left. Or you can shave about a half hour off by taking 465 to 421 (pyramids, about 5 miles before 31) go north on 421,421 turns into 29 take 29 to Burlington (just past 26) turn East on 22 (Right) go to Washington (City Tire, Walgreen's) turn left (North) go to Davis angle to the left (Marsh) go past big Daddy's, B&K track is on the left. This way has very few light's, good road and will cut at least a half hour off of your drive time. Very few cop's. (Ty close your eyes) Check your P.M. for our cell number if you need to call.

Not to butt in here but could somebody give me directions on how to get to Kokomo from Gas City. On the way home from the USAC show at Gas City we tried to find Kokomo Speedway cause we haven't been there but we didn't know where we were going. :action-smiley-049: I also e-mailed Kokomo Speedway and asked for these directions and haven't got a response and it's been two weeks? :icon_smile_blackeye

Take State Roads 22/35 (same road) from Gas City West to U.S. 31 in Kokomo and turn right which is North (BP station on the right). Go North on U.S. 31 to Morgan Street (Hardee's and Arby's) and turn left which is West. Go across second set of RR tracks which is right at Davis Road (B-K Hot Dog Stand) and turn right which is North and the track will be about a 1/4 mile on your left. Hope this helps. It will be about 30-35 minute trip.

When you leave GC turn Right(west) take it all the way to Kokomo...when you get to 31 turn right then follow Jerry directions from there.

Thanks Mud Packer and OnThe Fonz. When we got to Hwy. 35 we turned left (not good with directions unless i'm standing in my front yard) and ended up going through Walton. We thought we were headed in the right direction, guess not!

If you guys come in on 22 from 29 turn north on Phillips Street, its a few blocks before Washington. Take Philips north to Morgan (just past the last softball field turn right). At the B and K stopp light turn left North and the track is just a block up on the left. Washington has about six lights and Phillips has 2. Watch your speed though, Washington and Phillips is a 30mph zone. :rolleyes:
