With all the negativity going around these days. I think its time to say thanks where thanks is due..
Thanks to Bill Gardner for providing us with the best website on the web. Also thanks for putting up with the disrespect on the website. Even if your ramming someone else on bills site. It's a disrespect to him. We can't thank you enough for all you do.
Thanks to all the very talented racecar drivers who go out every weekend risking there lives for are entertainment.
Thanks to all the promoters who provide us with great tracks. We in Indiana are so lucky and fortunate to have so many great dirt tracks from bull rings to half miles.
Thanks to everyone In the racing family. When someones in need we all come together. Power of prayer speaks for its self. And so many of us come on here asking for prayers because we know are racing family is reliable and will always work together.
Let's keep this post 100% positive. Give thanks where thanks is due. Share stories of how this wonderful racing family has helped you. Posted via Mobile Device
Mine is self explanatory. My grandson Andrew and our family have been the beneficiary of so much from so many kind and generous people on this board. Thanks seems so inadequate at times and it is hard to express our true gratitude.
Without Bill's hard work and dedication, none of this would have ever happened. Thanks Bill for all you do. It is greatly appreciated.
Mike
Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
I want to thank Bill for keeping this site going and keeping it moderated the way he does. This is basically the only sprint car message board I frequent anymore, and that is primarily due to the fact that it stays on topic and most of the discussions are just that...DISCUSSIONS...not silly pissing contests or trash talkin tirades...
I won't mention names, but I used to spend a lot of time on a site that rhymes with NOSETHREADS...in the last 6 months a handfull of people have turned that site into a Jr High Cheerleader camp with all the gossiping, back biting and catty-ness. No topic over there is safe from getting hijacked into a "He said She said he can't drive you're an idiot" thread.
Where I live has a decent sprint car scene but it's mainly winged 360s...I enjoy the racing, the level of competition and the car counts but I long for real sprint cars with no barn doors and there just isn't much of that around here so without IOW i would really feel out of touch with traditional sprint car racing...
In summation...IOW is a great site with great members and a great boss...everybody is mature, grown up, and loves the sport and thats the kind of people I prefer to deal with..
Thanks Bill and thanks to all the members!!!!!!!!!!
AMEN!!! A positive post and BILL is a first class host. Thanks for making this thread #1 Brad Kuhn Fan. And Bill, a BIG thanks for all you do!!! Mudpacker I am still praying for that little grandson of yours. Shoot me an update about him and the twins when you get a chance....
