Great track conditions with no dust! The heavy track let the cream rise to the top of the finish order in all classes. The threat of rain rushed the program at the end and had drivers frantic to gain spots early in the sprint feature. The hard driving early on, may have contributed to the nasty flip for Tim Calicoat. I hope he is OK. What a finish! Too bad the sprint feature was the last race of the night but worth the wait.

Received this info from Leslie Calicoat, wife of Tim Calicoat, driver of the Team Fenner #7 Non Wing Sprint Car who took a nasty tumble last night:

Hi friends, Thanks for all the messages and calls. Timmy is not feeling good today but he is home and in good condition for the nasty wreck he was in. He has a concussion, a sprained back, knee and lots of bumps and bruises. Thanks again

Personally thought the track was WAY too heavy until about the last 10 laps of the sprint race. Cushion was brutally low and single file racing the mini sprints and most of the sprint feature.

Glad to hear, tim c. Was not seriously hurt.

Regardless, of the track surfaced i am glad they were able to push the races and get it in. It was a good finish.
