$1300 to win ? $1700 to win ? USAC at Gas City, MSCS at THAT???

Seems Bloomington can raise the purse when they need to encourage their cars to stay home, and still make money? It would seem the crowd would be smaller on the same night they raise the purse, and still make money? Just thinking out loud??

I hope so. I really like watching the drivers qualify and I think it makes for better racing in the heats. I also think it gives the regulars a little advantage when USAC comes to town and they have to qualify into the field.

The MSCS race at Terre Haute pays 3000. to win and the fans will be treated to cars pitting on the infield.
