Is Granite City Illinois. We are coming out for the whole Sprint Week. And we are thinking about giving up two Sprint Shows, for a Lucas Oil Late Model two day show at Granite City Il. TIA

Funkster how many Late Models you think GC will get...

Tri-City Speedway, Granite City, IL, is a little over 2 hours due west of Terre Haute. Get on I-70 west and you can't miss it. Track
is bad-fast and usually very smooth. This year they have all new concession stands and rest rooms. The Gold Crown Midget Nationals in October are a great three day show with a $15 thousand check for the Saturday night winner.

DO bring nice weather with you !
DONT bring any rain !

Little Belleville is very 1950s in appearance, but the racing is good. Its my fave outdoor midget track, and I try to get to every midget race there. There are bleachers on both the frontstretch and backstretch. I usually sit somewhere near Morty on the backstretch. Either set of bleachers are fine for viewing . You sit real close to the track in either set,as they are very steep bleachers, and you are right on top of the action.

I'm hoping for 40+ midgets, and they always get about 60 mini sprints there. Makes for a good double header.

Hope to see you there next week Mike. I'm heading over straight from work. Probably get there in time for hotlaps.
