Bloomington Hotels?

I normally stay at the Days Inn in Bloomington but just noticed they bumped their prices $30+ a night. Can anybody else suggest a different option?
I usually stay in B-Town for 3 nights during Sprint week. I know that IOW has a track hotel guide but the ones they have listed are $200 night. I honestly think the Days Inn jumped their rates over the media coverage Bloomington is getting right now. Posted via Mobile Device |

I stay at The Super 8 just off 46. I was there for MW and paid $61 including tax.
The trouble with Bloomington is that in June & July they have a lot of special events that cause room rates to soar. I usually book my rooms as soon as a schedule is out, usually in Jan. That way you can get a good rate before the inns learn of a big event. My motto is that you can always cancel a room, but you can not always book rooml. |

If you're looking to stay on the cheap, I'd suggest checking out the Travel Lodge on East Third Street or Country Hearth Inn on North Walnut. To get the best rates I'd suggest booking through www.visitbloomington.com This will also show you what's going on in town and why rates fluctuate from one time to another. |
