With Eldora rained out Jesse headed back home and put a whoopin on Braian Brown, Randy Martin and the rest of the 35 car field at the opening race for the Winged Outlaw Warriors at La Mont Speedway. Jesse won his heat, and started outside front row in the feature. "The Rocket'' was just that in his own #77 car. With the Frankenstein powered by RMS racing engines, Jesse was blazing fast and lapped the field up to 6th place. In front of a lot of home fans Hockett put on a good show and made sure they got their moneys worth. We were all glad to see you kick some @$$ Jesse, lets get the lid off and put it to those USAC boys now!

Yes, thank you Eldora for being rained out. It worked out good for those of us in Missouri. We arent afraid of a little water on a track, keeps down dust that way! Always fun to watch him in any kind of sprint car, I dont even care it had a WING on it. Way to go Jesse, keep it up the rest of the year

Hockett is just about one of the last racers who not only races with and without the wing, but can win with and without the wing.

With a little more horsepower and if we could get him to stand on the gas he just might win a few more races don't you think T-Rex? Wish you guys were coming home this week but the weather sucks so we will see you when we come to Indy. We are planning on racing at I-70 this Saturday but right now it does not look very promising.
