New York, NY, 4/9/08 – Race/Network is proud to announce an arrangement with Knoxville Raceway to stream Live the 2008 Knoxville Midget Nationals along with their 360 and 410 Winged Sprints on June 20-21, 2008.

Brian Stickel of Knoxville Raceway has been very proactive in the further promotion of this yearly Midget event. He sees working with Race/Network and the Live Streaming of the event as a significant opportunity to promote the Knoxville facility and the great Midget racing that takes place over this very special weekend.

“We had been speaking with the management of Knoxville since October, and both parties have wanted the streaming of this event to come about for quite some time… all involved couldn’t be happier things aligned so this broadcast could go forward”, said race/network co-founder Ian Marvuglio. Ian continued…“I would also like to thank USAC and Kevin Miller for giving the OK for us to stream the USAC cars once again and we look forward to the possibility of future races with the USAC organization.”

The Knoxville Raceway is a historic facility and to see the Midgets run there is a unique and special happening. All who can make the trip should pencil this race on their calendars and while in town visit the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum located outside Turn 2 of the raceway. For those who cannot attend, race/network will provide the opportunity to view all the action LIVE for both nights. Race/Network members may purchase this pay-per-view event stating April 9th. General membership is free and with your membership you also get free programming like Knoxville Raceway Weekly Highlights and the JackSlash Show with Sean Buckley and Dean Mills.

Last year’s Knoxville Midget National’s winners were Darren Hagen and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who will capture the 2008 event. The complete racing card from all nights will be streamed with an estimated 8+ hours of live broadcasting!

As recently done with the POWRi DuQuoin races, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Marty Boyer to help during his recovery process. Pricing for the 2008 Knoxville Midget Nationals will be as follows: Day 1 (June 20, 2008) $9.99; Day 2 (June 21, 2008) $12.99; Special 2-Day Package (June 20-21, 2008) $17.95. For each individual day subscription, race/network will donate $1.00 towards Marty Boyer. For each 2-Day package sold, $2.00 will be donated.
