I received an email message telling me that I have received a PM on IOW. I didn't recognize anything about it, so I logged on here normally, then checked my PMs. As I expected, there are none. Assuming others get that email, I suggest not clicking on any of the links in it.

without opening them. It was from SKYPE-something? I can't remember now.

I'm supposed to be a moderator and I had one as well.

By the time I was up this morning, it had been removed. I clicked on the link and poof! It was gone.

I think most people did. Someone registered and sent the same 2 messages out to close to 1000 members. And the good thing about everybody getting hit by a mass mailing, as opposed a bunch of individual senders, is that Bill has tools installed on the board that enable the moderators to wipe out the offenders work, with one action.
