What do you think of the race Sunday before the Nationals?:

It will be great if they can have another race somewhere on Monday night. Boone would be a good choice in my book,track has a nice shape to it,only a couple hrs or so from Knoxville and Oskaloosa.

Has anyone heard anything else regarding this race? It's a great idea, hopefully a step in the right direction towards a non-wing Nationals that rivals the winged one.

Maybe USAC can convince McCarl to flip-flop his Front-row Challenge and Ultimate Challenge? That way there will be two straight nights of non-wings!

Nah just get a USAC race at Boone on the Monday night. Those that wanna go to the Front Row Challenge for beads being thrown all night can do that,and those of us that wanna watch real sprint car action can go to Boone.

USAC will probably do something "intelligent" like schedule a race at Hawkeye Downs on that monday.
