" They have talent, they won in go-karts". Not sure, but I'm guessing there is major difference between go-kart and truck series. Hey Crankin, maybe you could hire them to sell jello shots at the EXPO. Lol! Never a dull moment. Before some body gets thier shorts in a knot, I am not knocking go-carts. There are some bad a%% carts out there.

Cope who? If Dale had not had the flat tire in the 500. He would have never been anything. So good luck with him being their coach.

That's just it-they have. And they are passing it off as the 'future' of racing. If this is the future then I'm ok to live in the past.
But on some level they are right. It is all about connections more than talent. And those girls have 'points of separation' when it comes to sponsors. Other drivers have other 'points of separation', namely results and experience.
I know every driver needs some time to get comfortable in their deal. I get it. But it's hard for me to handle the way things go around there anymore.
They are proud of their Hall of Fame/museum down there. But I walked through it and saw people who were simply good enough to get there. Innovators, revolutionaries, and those who were racing as a way to live.
I listen to the satellite nascar channel as much as I can stand. The Family in Daytona Beach has become so far removed from the dictatorship of men named Bill that they go to everyone for opinion and direction now. The bubble is getting thinner by the day, and when it pops they won't even know why. Maybe they'll Cope. Posted via Mobile Device
