Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone has been to the Super Cross or is going this weekend in Indy. I have never been to one and have tickets for this weekend. I was wondering if anyone knows if its worth getting there at 12:00 or 12:30 when practice starts or just for the main show at 7? Thanks for any help...

Been for the last 10 years or so. Great show, amazing things they do during the races. They have in years past allowed pass outs during the day. We usually get there between 1-2 walk around, check out different seat views during practice, then go downtown and get some grub. The actual race for both classes will be right around 3 hours. Racin is racin and these guys get it on. Have Fun.

I'm a little bit bias but I think its well worth the evening and a great way to get out of the house. The racing is exciting and even if you don't follow the series and have no idea who the "top" guys are you can still appreciate and enjoy what's going on. I think if you go a newbie you will surely leave a fan.

This weekend will be my second time to the supercross and it is very exciting. I enjoy it and more importantly my nine year old daughter enjoys it more.

There is usually something on the track all day. You can go to supercross.com to get the schedule for the day. I know my five year old wants to get there at 12:30. Its a pretty cool event.

I have had pitpasses in the past and went to practice and all. THe pits are a waist of time. Carmichael never came out of his trailer to sign autographs, even though he had 50+ adults and children outside waiting. Stewart the same way... However Millsaps was in the lites series then and he was very fan friendly. I saw him stop eating his dinner to rush over and sign some things for his fans. Tony Stewart was there in the pits also. Tony didnt sign anything, but he went as a fan like I did and I think he deserves a day off. He did pose for pictures if he saw ya try and snap a shot of him. THat was nice.

I usually go to practice, go get some dinner, then go back in time for the evening full show.

Good night of entertainment for sure (since sprints are still hibernating around here).
