just giving all my IOW friends a heads up. Just saw on the news that they are raising tickets by 40 dollars and are going to start watching more closely on interstates. Also the seat belt ticket is going up too. If you try to fight it in court and lose it will be over 200$. All my Indiana friends have a safe trip to gold crown nationals!

Also watch work zones, they can double the fines there and some weekends are enforcement weekends, that is when they have to give you a ticket if they pull you over for an infraction.

For those of us who live in Illinois , we are so close to being illegal to live in this state it is unbelievable! Too much protection, if you know what I mean.

Don't use your phone in work zones either, they're trying to crack down on that. Some work zones have cameras to catch people on their phones even when cops aren't there.

On the other hand it is ok for the law to use his computer while driving --- watch sometime & you can see them looking down at it & driving with one hand.
Imagin what he is doing.

Living just West of Vincennes, the only Illinois road that I have consistently seen alot of pullovers on is I-57. However, US-41 between Terre Haute and Evansville.......

How else is Illinois going to make up a $13 billion budget shortfall??? It will sure take a lot of tickets. Just drive safely and you will have nothing to worry about.
