Is there a Jungle Park Reunion this year? Any info appreciated. Jon

That is a bummer. The 3-4 Crown at Eldora is that night.

It would be nice if they could have it on Oct. 9 to coincide with the Silver Crown race at THAT.

or next Saturday to coincide with the sprint race at THAT

Too bad. HArd to get from Ft Wayne, over and back to Eldora.

I can't figure out why they always have the reunion on 4-crown weekend.
They don't promote it at all. It took me a month to find out when it was and were they going to have it this year.

I talked with the promoter a few years ago while seeking info. After he told me the date, I told him that it always conflicted with the Four Crown Nationals and that it kept many fans from attending. I asked if he would consider changing the Jungle Park date to avoid that happening in the future. He replied that Eldora Speedway should change their date.

I also talked with the promoter many years ago. I don't believe he is an active race fan anymore. He seemed to have no interest in moving the date off of 4-crown weekend or trying to work with Terre Haute.

I'm not sure who does the reunion now. But, maybe if enough people talked to him about this he would listen. Anybody know who it is?
