I need to get all my body panels and tail tank painted for a decent price. Can anybody refer me to a painter who will do it for a decent price? Its a sprint car. Any estimates please?

don't know where you live so can't recommend a painter in your area.....estimate would depend on how much prep is ness. on the parts you have and how good of mat. you wanted cheapest would be at least $600 with automotive single stage a/e..if base coat/clear-candy-pearl -ect. sky is the limit ...I always painted mine solid color ,threw on some vinyl numbers-easy to repair after crash

Check out your favorite Farm stores for paint, and buy yourself a Wagner power painter, and have at it, you might be surprised how it turns out, if it's not real good, it won't make much difference anyway, after the first race it'll just be old paint, with rock nicks in it. You could probably do it for under a C note yourself, and learn a new skill doing it. Just don't call it a "paint gun", and you can take it home the same day! Bob
