When in Rome do as the Romans do, we all did, we watched the 410's race for 25 laps just like race fans do every Saturday night here at the home of Sprint car racing in the heartland.
Was their a difference in the speed between the 360's and the 410's? Maybe, it was really hard to tell, I think you would have to have them on the track at the same time to see a visable difference.
Skip Jackson opened the race taking the lead but Johnny Herrera looking for his second win of the year at the old gal buzzed Jackson coming out of turn #4 and never looked back to see if any body was even in the race with him.
The wingless wonders come in tonight to throw down the USAC Nationals. Will their be a difference in speed, only a stop watch could tell, but I think they will be a little slower. If the racing is good who cares how fast they are going, without the wings the guy's behind the wheel has to work a little harder and the cars are sideways quit a bit more making the viewing pleasure more enjoyable. Enjoy.
