NEW TRADE SHOW ANNOUNCES EARLY PARTICIPANTS

August 2, 2010 - Anderson, IN - Officials of the newly created Great American Motorsport Exposition today announced a handful of early participants . The participants will be on hand at the Exposition Nov.26-28 at the Blue Ribbon Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Show founder, Gary Schlafer, announced that several sanctioning bodies have already committed and will be present at the inaugural show with booths and cars on display." Currently we have virtually every type of short track racing car imaginable represented " explained Schlafer. " It doesn't matter whether you prefer dirt to pavement, or open wheel to stock cars. We have your preferred type of car ".

To date, nearly fourty tracks and sanctioning bodies are participating. The All Star Circuit Of Champions, Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series, Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series, United States Speed Alliance, Midwest Supermodified Association, and the Little 500 Hall Of Fame represent some of the participating open wheel organizations. Champion Racing Association, Indiana Late Model Series, USA Modified series, the All Star Late Models, and the International Outlaw Figure 8 Series represent some of the many stock car sanctions involved thus far.

The show will feature some very historical and prominent speedways: Gas City, Anderson, Eldora, Winchester, Kokomo, and Salem will all be on hand. Local dragways Bunker Hill and Muncie will also be present representing the drag racing circle.

The younger generation racer will also be represented with Soap Box Derby, Karting, and Quarter Midget sanctions. Arguably the largest Quarter Midget sanctioning body, Quarter Midgets Of America will be on hand.

Dwarf cars, modified lights, vintage, drifter, off-road, auto cross, and mini-sprint sanctions have also been confirmed. Virtually every type of short track car will be on hand with the exception of Legend cars.

" This is truly a remarkable line-up of race cars that has been assembled . We expect well over 100 race cars making this a one-of-a-kind experience not offered in the winter months " concluded Schlafer

The Great American Motorsport Exposition will be the largest industry show of its kind with the fan in mind. Fans are always excluded from industry shows although that is not the case with the Great American Motorsport Exposition. Stay tuned, over the next few months racing celebrities, entertainment, and fan active ties will be announced for the show.
