Saturday night June 5th the Midwest TQ Racing League™ presented by Vincennes University will be making their first appearance at the Marion County Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. In addition to a full field of MTQRL regulars, several drivers from the IMRA TQ series based in eastern Iowa and western Illinois are expected to be on hand.

The 2010 MTQRL season has been very competitive with three different winners in three races. Defending champion Tate Martz won the season opener on May 8th at the Shelby County Fairgrounds, Tim Lynch was victorious May 15th at the Lawrenceburg Speedway, and on May 22nd at the Twin Cities Raceway Park Nick Speidel scored the win.

Speidel currently leads the season standings over Lynch, Martz, Byrge and Guinn with only 75 points separating the top five drivers.

CJ Leary sits atop both the Tony Stewart Racing Rookie of the Year and the Ward’s Apparel Hard Charger standings while Martz is the leader of both the Jackson Oil & Solvents Duel for Fuel standings and the Tony Stewart Foundation Leader of the Pack Challenge.

This race is a HARF Night and all Hoosier Auto Racing Fans with a valid membership card will receive $4 general admission. Also, anyone with a ticket stub from the “Hoosier 100” USAC silver crown race held on May 28th at the Indiana State fairgrounds will receive $4 general admission as well.

Should be another great night of MTQRL action, if we can get Mother Nature to cooperate a little. We have another very competetive season shaping up, and it will be lots of fun racing at a totally new venue. From the pictures I have seen and the reports that I have received, the track looks like it will be fast and smooth. Looks like a great field of cars, and lots of discounts available to fans to come enjoy an evening of good, clean and competetive racing action. Come on out and enjoy the "New Era in Three Quarter Midget Racing" with us.
