I am usually attending the Indy 500 with my dad...This year he is in Seattle for a wedding..and I am at home planning an event for next week...I am taking time to count blessings...even though we have problems...this is STILL the greatest country in the world.

I am thinking about people that I knew that passed away recently..close personal friends..and racing business friends like Larry Rice, Bob Higman..and Wolverine Midget official Steve Paul...and then a person like Jesse Hockett..who I never met..but always stood on the gas..and stood out... Listening to TAPS...thinking of all the fallen military members.

This is a reminder that life can be all too short...I myself have decided to put away any bitterness from past matters..and move on..life is too short to be bitter. Lets all learn to get along and work together as much as possible in the future.

I just turned on the live feed from IMS..and I am getting the chills of excitement even more...looks like we will have a choice of in car cams..this is worth signing up for...THE GREATEST SPECTACLE IN RACING!!...GODSPEED EVERYONE!

Check the live feed here!
