The 50th anniversary season of the Dutch Mill Buffet UMRA TQ Midgets continues on Sunday night at the Kokomo Speedway. After overnight rains caused Saturday's race at Montpelier Motor Speedway to be canceled, the cars and stars of the UMRA are itching to hit the track again. Come and see veterans like 14-time series champion Terry Goff take on rising stars like Brandon Gray who will no doubt be eager to improve on his second place finish last Friday night at the Bloomington Speedway. Fans will also want to see 1993 UMRA Champion Travis Welpott as he pulls double duty in his sprint car and in the Michael Koontz owned #18 TQ. There will also be a chance to win tickets to the UMRA Fan Appreciation Races at the Decatur County Fairgrounds in Greensburg on September 10th and 11th. After Sunday's race at Kokomo the next UMRA event will be on June 5 at the famed Rush County Fairgrounds in Rushville where the TQs will be joined by 600 mini sprints.
