Guys...im almost ready to start the old dragster after my Hilborn install and im not sure what to put in it for pills. Ill throw out the basics at the bottom here for more info. I DO NOT have any bypasses on it all as everyone ive talked to said to wait to put a high speed on it till we get it running ok.

I talked to a local owner who said he would try a 60 pill but i want to ask around instead of "putting all the eggs in one basket". Ive ran enderle and rons injection before but I have no experience with this...thanks in advance for any info.

Car:
Front engine dragster, 1800lbs with driver

Engine:
383 SBC
12.5:1 compression
Aluminum angle plugs 200cc runners
.640 lift Comp roller/Comp lifters

Injection
Hilborn stack 2 7/16's
Enderle 80A pump(belt driven)
Nozzles are 14AS
Stack length is yet to be decided..taking ideas on that too.

Just to make it easy, I'd call Hilborn, they can give you the info you need, in a heartbeat. You can google to find their phone number, and give them a call, then you will be getting your info from one source, the people most familiar with it. Bob

Good answer TQ29. Hilborn will get you close but they will ensure that you are a little rich with your starting point, or at least NOT lean. Go with their advice and expect to have to sneak up on the perfect pill by leaning one pill step at a time.

make sure your turning the fuel fump at 1/2 crankshaft speed. count the teeth on both pulleys. The enderle fuel pump is a little different than what most guy's run in a sprint car. If you can find out what flow numbers are esp. 50 psi head pressure & 1800rpm pump speed.
