The driver crowned the Angell Park Speedway Auto Racing Association Rookie of the Year will take home an extra $1,000 this summer, thanks to Pepsi of Madison.
Coupled with the $1,000 incentive to race at least eight APSARA events during the season, one newcomer can plan on a check for $2,000 at the year-end banquet.
Angell Park kicks off its season Sunday, May 16 with the historic, inaugural APSARA midget event and the IRS sportsman midgets. It's expected that several drivers will do double duty.
Time trials start at 6:30, racing to follow.

Angell Park Speedway Loyalty Rewards Program

The Angell Park Speedway Auto Racing Association will reward any APSARA-member car owner that competes in all APSARA events during the 2010 racing season. Owners completing the program will earn $5, times our average APSARA car count over the season. For example: $5 x 30 cars per event x 19 APSARA races = a $2,850 Loyalty Bonus for each car that qualifies for the program.

Competing will be defined as competitively starting 3 regular midget events per night. Judgment calls will be left to the Director of Competition.

The bonus will be paid for in the form of a check at the racing banquet to be held on November 13, right here at Angell Park Speedway.
