ASCT HEADS NORTH TO DODGE CO. WISCONSIN

The American Sprint Car Tour will travel to the Dodge County Fairgrounds Speedway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin for “The Cheese Head Challenge.” This show will take place on Sunday, June 13th at the ½ Mile slightly banked clay oval. The A-Main will be a 25 lap event paying $2,000 to the Winner and $250 just to start. There will be $100 tow money guaranteed to anyone not making the feature field.

This race will be in conjunction with the scheduled event on Saturday, June 12th at the ½ mile facility of the Freeport Raceway Park in Freeport, Illinois. The 20 lap A-Main will also pay $2000 to Win and $250 to start. $100 tow money will be guaranteed to anyone not in the feature line-up.

Wow, that's great news. I was kinda bummed because I couldn't make the Freeport show but I will definitely be at Dodge. Heck, if you come up next year you could schedule a race at Charter Raceway. 2 tracks about 2 miles apart.

all new to this website...what ever happened to trying to keep it within 3 hrs of indiana....im very interested in joining your series but heck its coming more and more like a usac schuedule....will we be paid cash or check of races just trying to get a few irons lined out

they said it was hard to schedule any indiana tracks other then the ones already on the schedule. so they kinda had to get tracks in other areas. Atleast they are staying in the region instead of criss-crossing the country like USAC does every year. Hopefully they get some very good car counts for a first year touring series.

I guess i'm glad when a race comes to my area but i don't know about this one. First off i hope they have a good car count cause i don't think to many locals will run this one? Since it's a Sunday this also might be a problem for fans. Some might go to Sun Prairie? Not trying to be negative cause i hope this race is a success. Any support classes running?
