Butler (Mi.) Speedway will return to Saturday night racing it was announced by new track operators Carl and Helen Frederick, and Bob and Karen Garrett.

Denny Donaldson turned the speedway over to the group during a gathering at the Comfort Inn in Coldwater. The event was put together by the Gerry and Darla Hart family to honor the top 10 drivers in each division from the 2007 season.

Among the changes for the 2008 season are the move back to Saturdays after two seasons of holding events on Friday. Sprint cars will remain on the program.

I hope somebody tries to turn that track around. I have spent some real late nights there waiting for the sprint feature.
