Ray,Kuhn,Coons Jnr and Hatton had a good start to the first night. Darland and Loyet struggled,both having to come through the B main to reach the Feature.Loyet who tangled with Darland (flattening Darlands left rear)in the "B"managed to qualify by finishing in the top Four.Darland started off the rear in the feature on a "provisional"..
Ray got lucky in his Heats to grab the Pole,Kuhn off grid 2,Coons Jnr 4,next American (Hatton)started 14th.
Ray hit the front and ran the pole,Kuhn followed.At lap 18,a yellow came out and saved Ray from being pressured by some fast coming Cars.
The rest of the race was shortened due to a curfew time and went green,white,chequred,Ray hanging on for the win.Standring (NZ)2nd,kuhn 3rd,Hatton 4th.
