There should be ony 2 five hundred mile races the southern 500 ang the indy 500 most of nascar races should be 250 and 300 mile races most are way to boring and they all race the last 10 or 15 laps! The rest is just using up tires and fuel! How many agree?

I don't know about those you listed being the "only" 500 mile races but I will say this, if this is a glimpse of what the rest of the NASCAR races are going to be then they better rethink their total package . But on the other hand I did have a wonderful nap. I slept thru 3/4 of the deal . That had to be the worst I've seen (of what I seen) since, um, last year.

This is one thing it's easy to agree with you on.

bad enough the races are too long, what about the pre-race.....lol, wayyyyyyyy too much rambling on and on, and to think they have another show on SPEED as a build up to the prerace show! seriously, the pre-race shows are longer than the races! and let's not forget the after race show! It's a shame they can't show some other types of racing on SPEED in place of all those NASCAR prerace, after race, race re-cap shows.... and let's not forget the re-runs of the NASCAR races all week AND classic (2006?????) NASCAR ....lol, seriously, SPEED should just change it's name to NASCAR and then form a new channel to cover the other racing. And to make matter worse, hours upon hours of Ol' DW..... wish he'd choke on a Digger bone......

I agree and agree also, that speed needs to show more race oriented shows instead of crap like wrecked and dangerous drives.

I watched the first 10-15 laps and the last 10-15 laps. I'm losing my patience with DW also. He was slobbering all over ( I mean interviewing Danica) and he had to get a shot in at Indycar, getting Patrick to admit that it was a more festive atmosphere. I hope she stays eventually. I'm pretty well sick of someone when they do nothing and get treated like a deity on the level of an AJ Foyt. When I read the boards over on Speed website she has fans that really think she can win, what planet are they on? She did well in the ARCA race because there were a legit 5 or 6 good cars. The rest were 5-10 year old cup cars with about 20 rookies.

Ol' DW better realize that most Indycar fans watch Nascar before Indycar starts because that is all the racing there is, slamming the Indycar series does nothing but piss people off.

I liked when the "USAC championship trail" used to have the triple crown of three 500 milers. (Indy, Pocono and Ontario? Been awhile).

Was it Marlboro who offered a million dollar bonus to anyone who won all three in one season? I think Al Unser Sr. was the only driver to do it.

NASCAR should do something like that.
David.
