I suspect you mean DuQuoin not Springfield. I would expect the usual drivers to showat Kokomo with a few exceptions. Lately the MSCS shows have been light on cars compared to previous years. The economy probably has a lot to do with that and I would expect that you will see that again with this race. Big purse, low car count.

I wonder if Cole will show up to win a 9th race and a season championship. If not Cottle will have it locked up if he shows and BP is to many points back. 2 horse race could turn into 1 real fast

Cole has a Silver Crown ride, so does Stanbrough so I doubt either of them will be there. Doesnt really matter, I havent seen a bad race there yet this year, and I have been to all of 'em. I am rooting for Dave Gross to win

Last Sunday night was not a points race, so Whitt is 101 points ahead of Shane (972-871). Cole stated three weeks ago that he's not going to be there on Sunday night. I think Dave's right, it's clinched. Should be a good night for someone else to slip into victory lane, possibly Shane? The 10E is due for a win at Kokomo. Hopefully they can eek out 20 cars or so, but I'm not counting on it. 20 cars or 12 cars, it will still be a good show.

Agree with that. I know the count will be down b/c of other races, but I'm going regardless.

What is the maximum number of points that can be gained in one night. Are points awarded in heat races?
