I would like to thank all of the fans, teams, and drivers who came out last night and helped us honor Jack. The show was awesome with a ton of great race teams in the pit area. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and that you will come back to Waynesfield Raceway Park in the near future.

Great night of racing! My highlight was (albeit a little biased) watching Kyle Simon quietly make his way from 19th to 5th (quiet that is with the exception of banging wheels with KT Jr. at the line, of which Kyle felt badly about). Good job, Normie!!

This place has a bunch of potential ...

I agree that it needs some shade. It also needs better lighting (especially going into turn 1). And some white paint on the yuke tires!

Joss Moffatt was exciting also in the B ...

Congratulations Matty! Awesome race win honoring a true racing hero ...

I doubt you would be disappointed. It is really a diamond in the rough and the new promoter Dean Miracle seems to be working very hard. I was especially pleased when he took the microphone after the victory lane ceremony and thanked all of the fans for coming out to the 1st Annual Jack Hewitt Classic. I hope he did the same in the pit area by thanking all of the car owners and drivers for coming out as well.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

Dean did indeed come through the pits thanking the individual teams for supporting this event. He rode up on his mule and did just that. He also hosted a bonfire for anyone that wanted to hang around and bench-race a little.

I know Dean personally gets around the pits alot throughout the evening. I hear him thanking drivers and teams all the time, but its hard for him to get around to everyone. I go through the pits before every show and take pics of every car for our facebook page and call the album PitPics. While I'm in each drivers pit area, I always try to make it a point to talk to someone from the team and thank them for coming. I hope they understand it's not just lip service. Since becoming track announcer in June, I feel like I'm living a dream. I get to be a part of the greatest sport in the world, and especially so Saturday, I got to announce some of my heroes out on the raceway. It truly is an honor for me to be doing this job, and I hope that these drivers know how grateful I am for them making my job easy. By putting on a great race, all I have to do is be a fan and describe what I see. With that said, let me once again thank all of the drivers and teams for coming out each week, and the fans for listeniing to me.
