WOW!!!! Talk about a deluge! Hope everyone is on higher ground or heading that way. Thunder, lightning and a rainfall varying back and forth from light to a cloudburst. Been watching the weather channel and reports out of Louisville saying 6 inches in less than an hour. Looks like rain and storms following I-74 from Indy to Cincy and a HEAVY band in western Indiana. Anyone getting any flooding?

On 40 in plainfield, the splashes when the cars go by are higher than the roof of the cars.

From the radar Northern Kentucky is getting hit hard again and the forecast isn't much better. Good thing the Indy cars ran last weekend.

Springfield IL got the relatively small rainfall of 1 1/4 inches in less than 1/2 hour this morning. Think I'll start growing rice.

Is his name Fishburger? We had a deluging rain about 6am this morning in the shadows of the Eifel Tower Ohio. Rain guage said 4.32 inches in about 45 minutes. I also sat 2 gallon wash bucket outside the garage, poured some blue coral car wash agent in it and its 2/3rds full as of 2pm. Little Miami River which doesn't flood due to deep valley it runs in (Around here) is highest I've seen it in three years, Normally about 3ft is about 17ft.

Fishinman, Bet them pumps are working overtime. Expecially if the Ohio Rises, keep a eye on it, May be nothing you can do but we'll hope for the best huh?

Hope everyone is safe and sound in their dry homes. The end of our street is on a 200 yard slope. Theres nothing down there but a turn around but it had about 3ft of water backed up about the size of a small farm pond this morning durring the deluge. Hasn't stopped raining yet. Lightning out the wazzoo!

As I type this, we have begun our second round of flood-inducing rains in the far-southern portion of Indiana, just north of Louisville, KY. Downtown Louisville was flooded this morning, and this rain is supposed to set in and just keep going until the wee hours of the morning.

I heard a 15 mile stretch of I-74 between Cincy and Indy is closed due to it being underwater.

Hope everyone stays safe back home. We've had rain everyday but typical FL storms they go away almost as quickly as they start. Although some places have picked up 2+ inches of rain with some of these storms. My folks said it looked pretty bad in town. Be safe!
