And, therefore, I have done away with my trip to East Bay.

Dick (who was at the first East Bay Winternationals longer ago than I care to remember).

i've been down there the last two years. i agree, the shows were great but, you could've fired a shotgun down through the grandstand and had little worry of hitting anyone. crowds were terrible (and OLD!! me included!). i'm still going down to florida about that time to see my buddy in miami but, we're just not going drive up from miami to tampa this year to watch wings and get ripped off by emmett hahn.

The last night (a wing show), we sat beside a "snowbird" from upstate NY. His winter home is just North of Tampa. When we said we had been to the non-wing show the night before, he said he had no idea they had been running all week, or that half the shows were non-wing. Another example of great promotion.

Dick.

Dick, earlier this year there was a thread about Dave Allison and getting him out of Terre Haute. One, or more posters, suggested Emmett Hahn as a replacement. Every time I've been to an EH show, I feel like I've been bent over and rammed. I personally think he s*cks as a promotor. I think he would be more of a lateral move for Terre Haute than a step up. My opinion.

I take it that you are saying he should do his promotions using Ben Dover for a pseudonym.
