I've noticed that the Hoffman Auto Racing #69 is without Kroger decals. Instead of Kroger, it's decked out with the Hoffman Auto Racing logo. Does this mean the end of the Kroger sponsorship? I'm guessing that it does, which is a shame.

The car still looks good, but could we see a retro scheme in the future? That would be pretty sweet!

They lost the Kroger deal last month after a 10 year association.

Geesh, I must need to wake up! I was pretty sure that they still had Kroger on it at the sprint car race at Lawrenceburg, during Midget Week. That's a bummer, but thanks for the information!

Yes, you're probably correct, JPM (or is it Shawn, according to Ronnie Combs? :2.

The Sprint Week pictures were the first that I've seen in awhile. I didn't see any USAC Sprint Car pictures from the pavement races (Toledo, Winchester, Richmond, etc.). It was the first thing that I noticed about that car though...lol!

And Klepper still referred to it as the Kroger/Tide car at Lawrenceburg. Several times.

I heard, from a pretty good source, that it was P&G that pulled the plug more so than Kroger.
