Darn mini-sprint racers (shakes fist).... Always ruining perfectly good racing programs.... NEVER should you be allowed to race when in the presence of anyone but direct family members let alone racecar drivers that you may idolize or hope to impress!!!
Ja ever notice, the difference in opinions, between the ones that set in the stands, and the ones that sit in the cars? Bob, and by the way, thanks! Jake

Well I for one enjoy watching the minis run. but then again I am wanting to get into running one. But a baby put a halt to that plan for right now. However, The mods do put on a great show and I enjoy watching them just as much as the sprint cars.
I luv you too Jake and Logan and all who become sprint car drivers. I only stated that the Mods make for a better show. If Im not correct, why was last saturday better attende than USAC1 or any other night I've been there this year save WOO night two.
I've got no problem switching off with the Bombers (They want to be LM drivers too) but a second class at a major track, Lets see, How many tracks in IND is that the case? Kokomo runs 600s quite often but I can think of no other.
Chuck actually seen a good mini feature at WoO 2 Got no problem with half a dozen shows featuring Minis. Sprints can't run at Greensburg, Osgood or Id be there too.

the mods make a better show? are you kidding me ? i dont think i have ever seen a mod race run from green to checkered...2 weeks ago at twin cities it took them 55 minutes to run 40 laps..i don think they ran over 8-10 laps without a caution i would rather watch hornets race

Every race offers different situations not always related to the class on the track.
The Mini Consi at LBurg WOO1 took 20 minutes to get the first lap in. Thrown chain. Flip.
That being said, After early problems with the class at LBurg such as you mentioned. The last five years. I dare say has the most stout from pole sitter to tail getter field of any class thats participated there. Its that hard to make a feature in that class. Some shows go green to checker, some feature mulitple yellows, Same with any class but theres always fifteen or more capable of winning any night.. Just ask em.
Several years back, a couple local tracks here in IL ran "Two-Man Cruisers"... Basically a hobby stock (with working radio, tail and headlights) with two "drivers"... One on the pedals, one on the steering...

2 weeks ago at Terre Haute it took the MSCS cars 2 hours to finish their feature and I have seen several flag to flag mod races this year...every night is different..and remember without the mods most promoters couldn't afford the purse..John Gurley
