I have been seeing and hearing rumors about MAARN not being in operation. I e-mailed their editor Sue, and she responded with this:

Hi, its just a rumor. MAARN News is publishing this year and our third issue will be printed Tuesday, Apr. 21. What we did, since the price has escalated in the cost of paper and printing, besides the post office raising our prices ( and everyone elses) for the fourth straight year, we combined the February and March issues rather than raise the price of a subscription or advertising rates. We are good to go. Pass it around. Thanks, Sue Editor
