We've just posted a feature story on Jon Stanbrough's 2008 KISS season on the National Speed Sport News website. This is the last in a series recapping the past season for a number of Indiana sprint car champions.

No registration or subscription is required to read the story. The link is below.

Thanks to all the drivers we profiled over the past couple of months, as they were very helpful with sharing time for interviews. :thumb

Nice article about an Indiana legend. Thank you for that and the other champs in your series. Dave would you know when the article on Hunter Scherenburg (sp?) would be available to non-subscribers of NSSN or maybe not? Thanks again. :applaud:

Any of the features that appear in the print edition require a subscription to access online. If you're not interested in subscribing you might check with somebody to read their copy, I think it ran back in November, maybe October.

The online subscription is actually a good deal, in my opinion. You can read the paper every Wednesday online for just $25 per year, which averages out to about 50 cents an issue.

The blogs and other content are free, but a subscription allows you access to quite a bit of news and columns.

Thanks!

Nice article Dave. I really like Jon and I enjoyed reading the article. You have a nice flair for writing, we still have the magazine from where you did the feature article on TP. I still take it out once in awhile and reread it. Brings back some VERY fond memories. Thanks for your talent.

Another quality article by one of the best auto racing writers in the business.:respect: I have followed Dave's career since he was a beat writer with the old Anderson Herald newspaper. Always glad to talk with Dave and proud to call him a friend.

The Silent Gasser has put together some fine racing over his career. Glad to see him starting to get some much over due recognition.:applaud: It will be interesting to see if he and the Foxco guys can continue to put up some big numbers.

Nice article and look forward to seeing both Dave and Jon at the races in 2009.

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
