I know a lot of fellow old timers saw this man race wingless back in the day. A big winner and a great talent wherever he traveled and raced at around the country. The great Lou Blaney passed away this morning.

This was a man who was racing royalty. And royalty remains so even after passing. My condolences and limitless respect to Big Lou's sons and the rest of his family. You don't need anyone else's thoughts to have known that Lou Blaney was one of the greats, but I offer them nonetheless.

Lou Blaney was a great racer and person, condolences to the family.

Dana, thanks for posting the picture of Lou with the Frank Crash car, for some reason that car came immediately to my mind when I heard of Lou's passing earlier today. Lou won a lot of races in that car.

I watched lou race a few times as a kid at skyline speedway and in the pa. Area. Sure will miss watching the red, white and blue trevis chassis even more now. He was a friend of the family as he had just attended my uncle's funeral last fall.......................................
