When champ dirt cars ran the DuQuoin mile under the lights, it was special. Running up against the wall

Now they are back at daytime, which I am still very grateful for. The miles are my favorite races of the year. But I am curious. For the ARCA cars, I don't think running day or night really makes that big of a difference on how the racing plays out.

So is putting ARCA on Sunday night rather that the Silver Crown cars on Sunday under the lights a USAC decision on the date or a T.E. decision?

ARCA being on national tv with FS1 probably helps to guide the decision made by Track Enterprises. They used to run the ARCA race on Labor Day Monday during the day.
