Rode to the rainout, at THAT, made the great race at Circle City, sat out Paragon because I knew it was going to be a rainout, went to Putnamville tonight because I was P.Oed about last night. The great thing about rainouts is the parking, I mean like WOW, I coulda parked any where I wanted, I wouldve even been able to park crooked if I wanted to. Left the track about 4:30p. Mind you Ive been retired for over 12 years so I got to relive driving in going home from work traffic, the very people I make fun of. I kinda think they knew. Anyway Im hoping for less parking opportunities tomorrow night. See ya at the races

I got so much faith in Kokomo Im leaving the house a day early. It seems like all week we have been in the starting blocks waiting for someone to pull the trigger

Unfortunately Mother Nature has pulled the trigger far too many times this week, just a subtle reminder of who's in charge.

Yes the rain has been a bummer, but when I see the problems it brought people in Salem, missing a race doesn't seem quite as big of a deal. Bloomington went way beyond trying to get Friday in. They would have lost a crazy amount of money if they got it in, but they still tried. We weren't going to make the 2 hour drive, but felt obligated to support them. After going there in April, and seeing what they are doing there, I will try to get there as often as I can.
Also., want to complement Paragon. First time I have been there since 2021. The place is really nice now. Spiker started improvements there, and the new group has run with it. Very efficient show by them and USAC to get it in.
Hope to see everyone at Kokomo. I have Flo and enjoy it. If I can possibly make it to the race, I go. If we quit supporting tracks, there will be nothing to watch at home.
