Mom drove in my head repeatedly, if you don’t have something good to say don’t say anything at all. In a lot of topics in life, that’s probably good advice, and I try to live with that lesson, although I do fail at times. But this time I do have something good to say, and it’s a couple thoughts on last week at LPS. First off, there was nothing to complain about. I watched at home on Friday and drove down Saturday. From this fan’s perspective, it was a great weekend of Sprint Car racing in Putnamville Indiana. I want to take a minute to give props to the Spiker team Mrs G and everyone else who contributed to a well run show. I do complain about support classes at LPS but on this weekend at least, from what I saw, they were pretty well behaved and didn’t bog things down. Track was good and very little work was needed after the start. Take a bow Lincoln Park Speedway. Got meet Jerry Shaw, and visit with Wildman92 and Dirtfan. Visiting with my buddy Yeleyfan76 and his family is always enjoyable, I love that they come all the way from Pennsylvania to enjoy the racing. Big shoutout to Brent. As some of you might know we brought Merrillville Al down to his first race in over a year. Mr Funk let all his buddies that were in attendance know, Al was there and they all came by to say hi, which was greatly appreciated. I do have one bad thing to say. They ran out of ice cream. At least Jen got some before they did. Sorry mom.

I also had a good time at Putnamville. Thought the track was good both nights. It was pouring when we got there on Friday, and they got it in. Thanks for driving Al down. It was great to see him, and glad he got to see so many people. I know he really enjoyed it.
